Yellow Mellow

I’ve been deeply in love with prints and colors lately. This is my Mom’s outer, so it has a vintage vibe in it, which i love. This time, i’m trying if yellow works for me.

What to wear for work today?

Setiap hari, para wanita karir yang peduli dengan penampilan mereka di kantor pasti berpikir hal yang sama di pagi hari, “pakai baju apa ya hari ini?”. Untuk mereka yang berseragam pastinya mudah saja karena tak perlu berpikir keras, they’re ready to go, sedangkan yang berseragam bebas, bingung karena tak mau memakai baju yang sama terus-terusan, atau mungkin bosan dengan yang itu-itu saja. Saya sendiri pernah mengalaminya, setiap hari ke tempat yang sama, dengan style yang jarang berubah tentu membosankan, maka saya berpikir untuk menambahkan sesuatu yang tidak besar namun bisa membuat penampilan saya hari ini berbeda dari kemarin.

Sebenarnya ini merupakan baju yang saya kenakan ke suatu seminar, namun bisa juga dikenakan ke kantor. Saya mengganti heels yang biasa dengan colorful wedges, as simple as that. Kalau kantor anda tidak mengharuskan anda mengenakan sepatu tertentu, invest your money on good and eye catching shoes, that could be worn everywhere. Tak perlu membeli baju baru terus-terusan, karena sebenarnya satu macam baju bisa digunakan dengan berbagai cara, tergantung bagaimana anda mengenakannya dan apa yang anda tambahkan dalam baju tersebut. Here’s an example picture i’ve taken of me. Just simple shirt, blazer, tailor pants, and colorful wedges. Enjoy!

Who doesn’t love shopping? Anyone? I guess not, hehe. Everyone loves it. Roaming around the store, picking a cute skirt or top, trying them one by one, and then confuse which one to buy, hahahaa. For those online shopping lovers, the fun is just the same. We search all the web to find the most beautiful shoes we’d like to put in our closet, am i right?

Fun Recycling in Fashion

I like to recycle my mom’s clothes, and sometimes my grandma’s. Fashion trends are like a wheel, it rolles again and again, and finally getting back to the previous. Off course there are improvement and a little differences, but when you work with fashion it’s just doesn’t matter. All you have to do is be creative, and use all you have to maximize your look. I recycle, mix my clothes, wearing dress as a top, wearing skirt as a dress, anything will work!

I found this blouse at the bottom of our stacks of clothes in the cabinet, and i fell in love. It’s just so simple, but no too ordinary. The prints are awesome. The fabric is soft and thin. it’s perfect in a very hot day like we have here.
